You know what hurts?
My damn teeth. For a couple of days my back teeth have been aching. I tell Tyler this and his only response is, 'weird, mine have never felt like that.' I just woke up from a nap and have been sitting here trying to figure out exactly how I can describe the feeling....
For those that have had braces; you know how your mouth feels the first time the orthodontist puts those brackets on your teeth, and gives them a little tight pull and a few days after your visit you're still feeling it. That’s similar to what I’m feeling right now.
I've been trying to figure out why they would hurt. One could be that I have a goddamn cavity. Could be. If so I have numerous little sugar holes. If so, I’m fucked. If so, wtf!? I've been staying away from treats and candies and sweet stuff. In fact, sweet treats, not my thing. Really. ...Well, their is the coffee. I love my coffee with extra sugar.
The other possibility is that it could be that my teeth are moving. I haven't put my retainer on in such a long time that maybe they're aching cause they're naturally moving and settling into places they shouldn't.
I have my retainer on right now. Its putting a lot of pressure on the roof of my mouth, not the "ow, ow, you're smashing my finger!" kind, more like the "mmm, yeah, harder-deeper!" as you're getting a message. I've been popping the retainer on and popping it right off every few minutes to get that relaxed, "ahh, that’s a great motherfuckin' long island," feeling. The teeth don't hurt for that split second. It's grand.
