I saw someone else do this, and i thought it looked fun.
Fuck. Marry. Kill.
Who would i Fuck, Marry or kill
New Mutants version

Marry.
Sam "Cannonball" Guthrie, he grew up on a farm, southern and has like a dozen siblings...well, had a dozen siblings. His southern farm bred naivety is pure charm and his ambition to grow up to become an X-Man (which he has done) is endearing, and also made him the best damn leader the X-Men may ever have.  He's like Cyclops, only without the childhood psychological trauma, Add the fact that marrying him would make (Gen-X'er) Husk my sister In-Law.  DREAM.

I'm so awkward i can't even do a cool super hero pose.

Fuck.
Roberto "Sunspot" Da Costa
He's a bit of a ladies man, so his bedside manor can go both ways.  It could be amazing or amazingly disappointing.  He generates heat from the sun...and my loins.  Huzzah.

Manly hairless chest and flaming fist.
Kill.
Warlock.
This is actually the hardest of all three choices because i adore all of these characters, but this is obviously the most obnoxious. The Techno-Organic alien who's mutant power is the idea of freedom and empathy.
Originally, his race are warlords who assimilate and conquer their captives, Warlock fled that when he began to value the 'life-glow' of a living being. He's fun, but he's also like that clingy friend that never goes away and eventually all you want to do kill him.
Query. Why does friend-Raphael want to dim self's life glow?

So, there you go. My totally irrelevant Marry/Fuck/Kill New Mutants version.

There's a new X-Men movie coming out this year and the trailer was released earlier this week.

Before watching the trailer the only thing i knew about the movie was the cast list, specifically who was playing Emma Frost.  A character I've had a long standing familiarity with since my comic loving origins, back when she was the headmistress and teacher for the Generation X class.  Anyway, a few years back the amazing Grant Morrison (writer of Doom Patrol, Invisibles, and -personal favorite-Animal Man) revamped and tweeked the character into the amazing ex-villain, cold-hearted, husband stealing bitch she is now.
I digress, this is supposed to be about the movie. So i was a little worried, at some point Bryan Singer (director of the first two movies) was connected to this but backed out/dropped out in the early stages of pre-production. A few weeks ago SOMEONE leaked a cast photo from the movie. A horrible cast photo that tried to resemble the ad-ascetic of the first couple Singer movies.

Movie continuity? Nah, we don't need that.
The trailer itself is quite dramatic and not what i expected from a comic book movie, i expected more over the top cheese, instead its more of a straight-forward pseudo-attempt at an political action flick.
Diamondy Emma Frost seems like it'll never look right on film.  Reminds me of an exaggerated Twilight vampire in the sun.
Magneto and Professor X seem to be working on saving the world from a missile crisis, assuming Cuban.
Seems like Hank McCoy becomes blue in this film (whoops, wasn't he pink in the first movie?).
Havok is older than Scott.
Angel looks too much like a model, the actress is too pretty. A Grant Morrison creation, she was sassy and her powers were a little grotesque, i hope we see her eat (like a fly). Vomiting on her food before consuming it.
Azazel is in this movie (Nightcrawler's dad), and it looks like he's got a badass scene in the film.  He's a bit of a controversial character since he was created a few short years ago in a horrible storyline about Nightcrawler's origin.  Horrible storyline, it was a sad few years in X-Men comic history.
Since they show Mystique in the trailer (Nightcrawler's mom) i hope they show baby 'Crawler BAMF out! How rad would that be?!
The cast is hot as fuck, i cannot wait to see January Jones walk around in her bra for most of the movie! I don't even really like boobies but i love me some Emma and Ms. Jones.
I am totally stoked about the movie now, the last scene in the trailer with the planes and missiles suspended in air look great.  I'll be there opening weekend.

Yup, i bought a big fancy vinyl X-Men poster, its about eight feet long, and just hung it to my wall. This poster is also the reason why most of you will not be getting bought presents from me. Whoopsie!
